Guidelines

Inside Outside Communications Foundation, announces the 2016 Inside Outside Communications Foundation Scholarship Program. Under the Program, we will award two scholarships, to seniors attending high school in the state of California or Arkansas. Contact the Foundation directly for more information.

Available Scholarships:

Baker Newton Scholarship:  One (1) $200 to $1,000 scholarship available for High School seniors
Fikes Honeycutt Scholarship: One (1) $200 to $2,000 scholarship available for High School seniors

Program Guidelines & Priorities:

• Seeking graduating seniors with a record of volunteering in the community for non-school sponsored activities and participation in extracurricular school activities.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school.
• Scholarship funds will be paid in July 2017 directly to the student. It will be the student’s responsibility to submit to the Foundation student ID number, proof of acceptance and class schedule.
• Applicants must submit recommendation from their School Counselor with their application attesting they are a qualified candidate for this scholarship.  Application deadline is May 27, 2017 by 4:00 p.m. to be received by the Foundation Committee. Late applications are not accepted.

Applications will be reviewed and the recipient is selected by a committee consisting of volunteers from Inside Outside Communications Foundation.
The scholarship will be awarded in July 2017.
